The Mirror Bible is a paraphrase translation from the original Greek text of the bible. The Mirror brings a fresh perspective to the table and while the detailed shades of every Greek word has been closely studied, it has been done with the person of Jesus Christ Himself and His finished work as the proper interpretative lens. Christ is the ultimate text and each page of The Mirror drips with grace as we discover our own identity restored in the very image of the invisible God.

The Mirror app gives readers a interactive way to consume the paraphrase with features such as bookmarking, writing margin notes, highlighting and sharing on social networks.

Please note: The Mirror is an active and ongoing translation and some chapters and verses are not yet complete. However, app users will get periodic updates of freshly translated texts!

Pros and cons of Mirror Bible app for iPhone and iPad

Mirror Bible app good for

This is the best translation I have ever read. The bliss of Abba hits me on every page as I enter into the full realization of glory of what really took place on the cross. This version highlights it somehow in every verse. If you want freedom from the lie of separation this bible somehow mystically drives it home. Im addicted. Cant wait for more!
Awesome work!! So inspiring and encouraging. Christ is our mirror! Please fix the bug if I copy a verse it only copies the notes, not the actual vers in bold letters. Thank you!! Bliss!

Some bad moments

An audio version of this paraphrase would be very beneficial for many people, especially given the cost of the app. I understand its an ongoing translation, but the only thing Ive seen updated so far is the "minor bug fixes." I have to say, Im bummed. Yes this is a great translation, but western thought has reared its ugly head in cashing in on the name of Jesus. It looks like someone is making a fortune off an app that appears quite simple... I doubt it is Francois.
This app hasnt worked; no text or available link to it. Probably shouldnt have downloaded the first day. Even my third try at writing a review!
I have enjoyed reading The Mirror translation for a few years. But to have it in my pocket and all the features including with it is too wonderful. It’s easy to navigate, and share, and highlight. If you want to read the Word and have your spirit and mind awakened to the rich, revelation of who God the Father is, and His plan for your life and this world, read this translation. Having read the bible my whole life, it brings unbelievable freshness to words I have read my whole life. Giving me an insight that seems almost too good to be true. The notes Francois leaves in so you understand the greek is most helpful. Cannot recommend it enough. Stop the bible reading! Start eating the Word and having it transform you. I see the Father with increasing clarity due to this practical and profound translation.
I have loved reading from this version so I was happy to buy it for my iPad. I paid for it in the App Store and it downloaded but it does not have any icon or link to be able to read anything other than information about the app and the authors. If I could actually read the Mirror Bible on this app I would rate it 5 stars!
I was hesitant to purchase at first because of some reviews that claimed that this app doesnt work with the iPad. Well... Im writing this review WITH MY IPAD and it works just fine! Now, along with my Bible app, Ill be creating my home group studies entirely with mobile devices. LOVE TO YOU ALL!
Ever since I ordered the Paperback of The Mirror Bible I got it yesterday I havent been able to hardly put it down. Then I read there was an app on iPhone for it. Of course now I purchased it. The only thing is now I am anticipating the whole Bible Old and New Testament. Please keep me posted as to when the whole Bible is available. Thanks. Pastor Sherra Turner
